U.S. National Toboggan Championships

400 teams, chili and chowder challenge, music, tailgate parties, costume contest, children’s activities.  The toboggan chute is 400-feet-long and rises 70-feet in elevation, allowing many toboggans to reach speeds up to 40 miles per hour. WinterKids’ Downhill 24

Statehood Day Celebration

The public is invited to join us at 1pm for an afternoon of speeches, music, poems, birthday cake and much more. We plan to include speakers from our congressional delegation, as well as the Penobscot Nation, plus our State Historian and Poet Laureate.
